So I bought a silk screener. And I'm about to start making some shirts. I've had a desire to start making things and objects with my hands and I've been brainstorming ideas for how to package our upcoming EP that we're going to record sometime in December when J comes up here for 2 weeks. We're actually going to physically make all the packaging for the EP by hand, and it's going to be a limited edition run, probably no more than 200 copies made. There is something liberating about creating physical objects yourself. Anyway, I'm about to order some nice American Apparel shirts, boys and girls shirts. Here is what the shirts are going to look like. Not sure how I'm going to price these things, since American Apparel shirts are a bit more expensive than most other shirts, although well worth it, because they don't fit like their pajamas. Take a peek, and be ready to place your order as I will probably only make a 50 or so of these ever:

Ok, so our old website had been our website for WAY TOO LONG. It had been neglected and left to rot in its sad, static, never-changing form for what seemed like eternity.

We know. And we've known for some time now that we needed a change. I finally gave in and did something more proactive than just ignore it. The Goal: make the website simple (it seemed a lot of people had a hard time figuring out that the little white cirlces were the buttons you use to navigate the site), and to, well, at least have something different than the same old website. So I stuck to my motto: Keep It Simple Stupid.

As an aside I will let you know that I'm sure a lot of this talk of keeping it simple had something to do with the fact that I was being indolent (which is just another word for lazy) and did not want to spend an enormous amount of time (time that I don't have) developing a website and testing a website, then redeveloping it because I didn't like it, and then testing it, then hating it again, and on and on.

And with that our new, low tech (and I do consider this to be a good thing) website has been born. Oh, and check out the slogan/graphic that will soon be on one of our new shirts: "Drum Machines Have No Soul"

They are going to look DOPE!!

Postscript: CD's are still on sale for $6. Buy it before we change our minds and feel like actually making a profit!

if i could have any voice
on our new recordings, it would be
CONSEQUENCE

if anybody knows him,
or knows somebody
who knows somebody
who knows him,

the word should be passed.
when i think about it
it's amazing anyone knows who we are.

even moreso that some like to listen
to our vibrations.

if there's anything we are,
it's onto something.

i would like for you
who are even mildly interested
to check us out every now and again
and see what that thing we're onto turns out to be.
what we are becoming.

think of us as a time capsule,
and bury it.

while you're here, go buy our album for only 6 bucks. yes, that is 10 songs for 6 dollars.

Last night I watched as Tim Robbins repeatedly pretended to smash the windows of a car outside of my apartment buidling.

What movie was he filming? It's called "Noise" and this is the synopsis: "A man who is being driven crazy by the noise in New York City decides to take vigilante action against it."

Which made it all the more funny when a dog came out of my building and starting barking what seemed like the loudest bark right in the middle of one of the takes. I thought about putting a boombox in my apartment window and playing "More Noise" on full blast.
